It's Official!
It's official, I'm finally a blogger!
It's been such a great year, I can't believe that in a few days, we'll be in 2006! I've been off from work since December 17th and won't go back until January 3rd. You'd think that I'd have tons of scrapbook pages completed and a clean house but every day is a constant battle in my head. Do I go inside or outside? Do I clean or play with the dogs? Do I exercise or lounge around? So much is going on in my head that by the end of the day, I seem to accomplish absolutely nothing.
Sometimes I believe that I spend so much of my day trying to be productive but yet not miss a moment of enjoyment because I hate my "desk" job. I really want to start pushing towards a new job direction but the nerves kinda hold me back. I've started up my own digiscrappin' business, started really getting into photography, got certified as a dog trainer, and really want to start up my own doggie daycare. But I guess I'm just afraid of taking the plunge. What if it doesn't work out?
So there is my New Year's resolution. I really want to get focused on finding out what I need to make my dream job happen. I'd love to tie it all together with a dog facility, training, dog photography and scrapbooking. Sure, there are the other obvious resolutions like losing weight, eating healthier, and being a better cleaner. Those are yearly ones but I want this one to really flourish for 2006.
On that note, I made a committment to become more involved as well. I just got back from the Humane Society where I filled out paperwork to become a foster parent for puppies, dogs needing socialization and dogs needing training. I'm excited to hear back soon. I figure this will be great for expanding my dog training skills and give me some peace of mind after watching so many episodes of Animal Cops in tears.
So there it is, my first blog! Quite a bit of babbling but it's a good release to get all this stuff written down. Happy New Years to you all and I hope everyone has a great 2006!!

Welcome to the blogging world ... you DO know it's very addictive, don't you, lol? Great start you've made ... :)
Yeah!! I'm so glad I've got someplace to keep up with you now:) Least you've already done the digi-scrapping biz. I formulated a plan for that one, even bought some stuff but didn't get it started. Sigh...harder than I though with 3 kiddos and 1 Jack:) As for the dog biz. You should go for it! My aunt is a retired school teacher that now breeds Italian Greyhounds and Chihuahuas~she recently started dog sitting too and is making lots of $$ with that, she also works full time for a vet~whew!! That was alot to type! If I can find her web addy I'll point you at her site:) Just keep up with those dreams and you'll be there before you know it!
lol - I just started one too.... I'm glad I found yours! Will have to add you to my blogroll... :) "See" you soon! lol!
